Mr. Amir Entezam
was the vice prime minister of Mr. Mehdi Bazargan, the first Iran Prim minister after 1979 Iran Revolution. He
has been in jail for past 23 years on charges of spying for the US.
However, Mr. Bazargan declared his correspondence with the US as the political vice prime minister was directly under his supervision and directions. In reality he is being jailed because he was helping the secular Vs religious movement in the government still under acceptance and support of Premier Bazargan.
