The following fundraisers are planned as part of "Thwarting
Democracy in
Iran and Guatemala" Conference and the Educational Scholarship at
Northeastern Illinois University called "Dr. Mossadegh Leadership
Fund
on Democracy and Human Rights."
Saturday October 25, 2003 9 PM The Heartland Cafe 7000

Chicago. Cover is $10.00. Cash bar and live Jaz music.

Another fund raising event is planned for November 7th, 2003 at the
Rosemont Convention Center. The program starts at 7:00 PM
and costs $50.00 per person for dinner and musical entertainment.
The proceeds from this event will be used to create an educational
scholarship honoring Dr. Mossadegh at Northeastern Illinois University.
It is called "Dr. Mossadegh Leadership Fund on Democracy and Human
Rights."
Raffle: A 12 square meter Persian Carpet from Mashhad. All
proceeds from
the raffle will go towards "Dr. Mossadegh Leadership Fund on
Democracy and Human Rights."
Tickets are $25. Only 200 tickets will be sold. For more information
