انبوه مبارزین رانده شده بخارج از کشور، بویژه روزنامه نگاران مبارز بشتابیم!
امروزه رقمی بالاتر از پنج هزار نفر از مبارزین سیاسی ایران در پی سرکوب
وحشتناک حکومتی بخارج از مملکت رانده شده اند و روز بروز بر تعدادشان افزوده
میشود. در میان انبوه پناهندگان سیاسی که
اکثریتشان در شهرهای کوچک مرزی در ترکیه بسر میبرند،
روزنامه نگاران
مبارز ایرانی جای مورد توجه و مورد احترامی ر ا در ميان ايرانيان خارج از
کشور برای خود احراز نموده اند.
اخیرا هیأت بین المللی وکلای دادگستری سازمان حقوق بشر
امید (Omid
Advocates)*
که همراه با یک گروه پزشکی و کمکی به
ترکیه سفر کرده بود گزارشهای نگران کننده ای از وضع این پناهجویان منتشر نمود
که ایرانیان خارج از کشور را بیشتر متوجه مسئولیت های اخلاقی در برابر نیاز
های مبرم انسانی و قانونی این هموطنان مینماید.
ما در حالیکه این جنایات هولناک و ضد بشری جمهوری اسلامی علیه مبارزین، بویژه
روزنامه نگاران را بشدت محکوم میکنیم، توجه هم میهنان خارج کشور را به اهمیت
کمک به این پناهجویان معطوف میداریم. ضروری است بکمک سازمانهای حقوق بشری
ایرانی که در کمک باین پناهندگان پیشقدم شده اند بشتابیم. کمک به ایرانیان
میهن دوستی که در ایران زندان و شکنجه شده اند و امروز در سخت ترین شرایط
معیشتی و روحی بسر میبرند، بویژه روزنامه نگاران، که اکثرا همچنان به نقش
آگاه کننده و افشاگری های خود در باره حکومت سرکوبگر جمهوری اسلامی ادامه
میدهند، یک وظیفه انسانی و ملی و کمک به مبارزات آزادیخواهانه مردم ایران
بشمار میرود.

We Should Help the Recently Exiled Activists, Especially the
Journalists
More than 5,000 political activists in
Iran
have been compelled to leave
Iran
in the aftermath of the horrific repression. And their numbers are
increasing. Among the large numbers of the political refugees who
are concentrated in the small towns in Turkey, the Iranian journalists hold
a place of great esteem among the Iranian community abroad. Recently
the OMID Advocates for Human Rights traveled to Turkey as part of an international
humanitarian delegation comprising physicians, attorneys, health care and
social services professionals. The OMID Advocates for Human Rights
has published reports, which raise great worry about the conditions of
these exiled activists. It is our ethical responsibility to address
the human and legal needs of our compatriots.
We strongly condemn
the horrific crimes committed by the inhumane Islamic Republic of Iran
against the activists, especially the journalists. We also point to
the necessity of our compatriots living outside Iran to help
these refugees. It is necessary that we help Iranian human rights
organizations that have taken the lead in providing assistance to these
refugees. Assisting patriotic Iranians who have been imprisoned and
tortured in Iran and
are currently living under harsh living and emotional conditions –
especially journalists who continue their works in exposing the repressive
measures of the Islamic Republic -- is a human and national duty and helps
the freedom-seeking struggles in
Iran.
